We, that are our dogs, my wife,
my son and I.

We are all born in the beautiful landscape of saxony, and we live near the capitol of saxony, Dresden.
From my early days, I am interested in dogs, and so I got my first german shepherd dog, „Mendy von der Tangente”. This beautiful she-dog was the beginning of my passion for dog sports and so I started at the age of 12 to train a german shepherd dog.

This she-dog, a pure gdr-breed, originates paternal from „Ex vom Brandenburger Damm” / „Don vom Haus Himpel” and maternal from „Quanda a.d.Quitzowstadt” / „Lydia vom Baruther Land”. Experts in german shepherd dogs knows about the meaning of this old gdr lines.

Mendy was a very powerful dog with strong hardness and acerbity, in a word, the right dog for a newbie to become desperate.

But with a lot of patience and a lot of help, first successes has become apparent. There came first exhibitions in Dresden. Along with the reunification of germany, there where many changes in private and professional life. That forced me to interrupt my activities in dog sports for years.

The comeback started with the arrival of my she-dog „Norana vom Aspenhaus”, paternal from „Lenn v.d.Kiefernschlucht” / „Hobby Gletschertopf” and maternal from „Ida Aspenhaus”/ „Natz Steigerhof”.

I became a member of the „Verein für Deutsche Schäferhunde (SV)”. In the following there came successful trainings and exhibitions. That was the beginning of a new era for me with my dogs.

In the year 2002 followed the booking in the studbook of the „Verein für Deutsche Schäferhunde (SV)” with the kennel name „vom Bretniger-Land” and of course the first throws. Finally, dog sports in all it´s diversity, became an integral part of our life.
